Where to Wednesday: Ireland
By Contikivacations | March 13, 2013
We're officially one week away from the First Day of Spring and almost halfway through the month of March! Time flies when you're having fun and starting next month, we have so many exciting things in store for our Contiki fans so stay tuned here for all our announcements!
Today's Where to Wednesday is an homage to St. Patrick's Day (which happens THIS SUNDAY!) and the beautiful Emerald Isle. Here are some of our favorite things to do in Ireland!
Kiss the Blarney Stone at Blarney Castle

Want the gift of gab? Someone will hold on to you as you kiss the Blarney Stone (upside down!) at Blarney Castle to earn this trait!
Raise a Pint at the Guinness Experience

Guinness Taste Experience
What visit to Ireland would be complete with the Guinness Taste Experience? See how this iconic beverage is created and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that Dublin has to offer.
Visit the Cliffs of Moher

Cliffs of Moher - Eartha A.
This photo was the winner of last year's "Love Travel" photo contest. We couldn't get over how beautifully she captured the Cliffs of Moher.
Londonderry
Contiki's Brooke S. went on Contiki's Ireland trip and explored the fascinating walled city of Londonderry or 'Derry'. Check out all the amazing Bogside murals on the city walls.
The Aran Islands
Galway is an Irish Town where Gaelic is still spoken in the streets, and you can take a quick jaunt to the stunning Aran Islands. Check out these sheer cliffs on the islands, a 40-minute boat ride away from Galway and offer an amazing opportunity for some fun photos!

These are only a handful of beautiful sights you can see in Ireland and Contiki visits all of them!
