Life has gotten WAY too serious lately. When was the last time you had the kind of fun where you lost track of time? Can you recall your last side-splitting, can’t catch your breath, tears in your eyes laugh? How long has it been since you spent some quality time with the people you love? If your answer to those questions was not “recently,” it’s high time to schedule more play, laugh and love!

We often get so carried away by the busy-ness of life that we forget to LIVE. Our routines take over and many of us get into robotic patterns of just getting through the day. No matter what is going on in your life and despite any stressful or straining experience you are going through, there is ALWAYS room for more life, love and laughter. In fact, it’s a requirement for living! I’ve shared this UPlifting song before, but I felt we all needed another reminder. I encourage you to listen to it and sing along (the lyrics are pasted below).

Fondly,
Christine Hassler

“When you realize how perfect everything is you will tilt your head back and laugh at the sky.”
Buddha

“To live in this world, you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal; to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends on it; and, when the time comes to let it go, to let it go”
Mary Oliver

Donavon Frankenreiter : Life, Love & Laughter
Don’t look back, it won’t do any good
Don’t look ahead you’ll just be misunderstood
Everything you need could be right in front of you
It doesn’t take much to see what is true
They say we are going to die if we go on like this
Who do you believe? Every story has a twist
Take a look around, tell me what you see
People in the world just trying to be free
What about all those things you could have done but you don’t?
They say things happen for a reason, you don’t do them, they won’t

I’m lookin for life, love and laughter

Everything in between and what happens after
I’m lookin for life, lookin for love, lookin for laughter

Things are gunna change, they never stay the same
That’s why we’re fighting a war but the people are to blame
You can only stand up for what you believe
Don’t be blinded by the power of greed
What about all those things you could have done but you don’t?
They say things happen for a reason, you don’t do them, they won’t

I’m lookin for life, love and laughter
Everything in between and what happens after
I’m lookin for life, love and laughter
Everything in between and what happens after
Lookin for laughter

We got everything we need
All the money in the world, want to buy what we see
Dreams are worth more than gold
Some people hold on, some people let go
The stars all come out at night
The velvet sky, all so bright
I feel so close to you
Because I see what you see too

I’m lookin for life, love and laughter
Everything in between and what happens after
Lookin for life
I’m lookin for life, love and laughter
Everything in between and what happens after
What happens after!
I’m lookin for life, love and laughter
Everything in between and what happens after
What happens after?
