One of the world's craziest festivals, this samba celebration spans a duration of 40 days, or approximately 6 weeks before Lent.  An average of 2 million people pack the streets of Rio for a celebration full of dancing, elaborate costumes, and good times.

Edinburgh Festival and Military Tattoo

Nearly 1000 performers come together for Scotland's proudest festival - Edinburgh's Festival and Military Tattoo.  Bands from around the world march and compete for the coveted first place banner.  With a backdrop like Edinburgh castle, delve into some fish n' chips and watch the fireworks ignite as you watch pipe bands, battle re-enactments, drills, and highland dancers.

Oktoberfest
