**NO LONGER ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS. STAY TUNED FOR VOTING PERIOD!**
Calling all bloggers, writers, and scribes! Get those pens ready, because one clever person will wordsmith their way to the ultimate South Pacific vacation in the land of adrenaline and wallabies.
Contiki launched our adventure-packed 2011-2012 Australia/New Zealand brochure today and we’re excited to bring these experiences to you. Then we thought… who better to express the excitement than you? Rather than take our word for it, we want you to live it! After all, that is the point of travel isn’t it? You’re great with words and our brochure is loaded with amazing experiences – it’s a winning combination. So put together your most persuasive pitch why you are the perfect choice and voice for Contiki. Win and we send you “down under” on the trip of a lifetime to document a Contiki Australian vacation of your very own!
Now before you get too excited and send us a persuasive essay that rivals the 2,635 pages of the Twilight saga. . .we have a couple of guidelines:
- Choose one (1) trip from the following Contiki Australia trips. (We know – it’s tough!) Pick the one that gets your creative juices flowing. We’re only accepting one submission so choose wisely:
2. Tell us in no more than 500 words (equivalent to about a page), why YOU would be the perfect choice to blog your way “down under.”
3. Be sure to include your reasons for selecting the itinerary, what activities attracted you to that trip, and why you are the best writer for the job!
We then select the top three responses and invite Contiki fans to vote on which blogger has written their way to the trip of a lifetime! The winner then departs on the Australian adventure (with up to $1000 credit towards airfare), to share their experience and superior writing prowess with the rest of us via tweet, blog and Facebook.
Sound like your kind of contest? Submit your entry to email@example.com to win and share your travels with the world by Monday, August 1, 2011. Good luck!
